Prettys advised the shareholders of Hertfordshire based Advanced Demolition Ltd (ADL) on the sale of the business to Sun Environmental Services Group (SunEnviro)

ADL delivers a full range of waste management and demolition services and is highly accredited and fully licensed as a Registered Waste Carrier/Dealer. Paul Jackson, co-owner of ADL, was introduced to Dan Billson and the Prettys’ team by Rob Dukelow-Smith and Amie Goodlad of Forward Finance.

This transaction involved commercial property and employment law elements as well as the drafting and negotiation around the commercial documentation needed in order for the sale to proceed. The commercial lawyers at Prettys were able to work together on all aspects of the transaction. As is often the case with such transactions, working to imposed deadlines and keeping all parties regularly updated and informed was key to the successful completion of the deal.

The outcome

“This was a great transaction to be involved in and I am grateful to Paul and Mick for trusting us to act on their behalf on the sale.  It’s always enjoyable when we have opportunities to collaborate, both cross-departmentally and with other advisers, and Rob and Amie at Forward were of great assistance throughout the transaction.”

Dan Billson

The team worked closely with Rob Dukelow-Smith and Amie Goodlad of Forward Finance throughout the transaction, and tax and accounting support was provided by Glenn Armon-Jones at Barrow LLP. The Prettys’ team led by Dan Billson comprised Becky Cleal and Bradley Powell (commercial property), Sheilah Cummins (employment) and Zoe Zhang and Sarah Lewis (corporate and commercial).
