Work Synopsis

Sarah joined Prettys in 2022 as a Partner in the Corporate Services department. 

Previously, Sarah had trained and worked at a Top 50 law firm where she specialised in corporate and commercial services, corporate finance and franchising, having graduated from the University of Warwick in 2005.

Expertise

Acting for a broad range of clients, from entrepreneurs to household brands and multi-million pound companies, Sarah has a wide range of experience in both corporate and commercial work, whether drafting, advising and negotiating various types of commercial agreements (bespoke and standard) or transactional work such as acquisitions, disposals, mergers and re-organisations. Sarah has particular expertise in advising family-owned businesses, GP practices with their partnership agreements and businesses in the motor industry.

Sarah has a particular interest in franchising and has developed this area of law as one of her specialisms over the years.  She is an expert in advising both franchisees and franchisors on all aspects of their franchising journey, from start to finish.  Sarah has also acted in the acquisition and disposal of a number of franchised businesses.  Her franchise work has led to specific experience in the motor and food sectors.  

Personal Synopsis

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, going on holiday and watching motorsport.  She is also a keen runner and a member of a local running club.
