Work Synopsis

Michael is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution department, having initially joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2015. They have wide-ranging practice, with cases ranging from small claims to multi-million-pound claims and appeals.

Michael also coordinates the firm’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and the provision of free (pro bono) legal advice, working closely with Suffolk Law Centre and Suffolk ProHelp.

Personal Synopsis

Michael has been involved in the theatre since a very young age, initially as a performer but also in relation to the technical and stage management aspects of a production.

  • Representing claimants and defendants in personal and commercial disputes
  • Acting for employers, contractors and subcontractors in construction disputes, including in adjudications and in proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court
  • Working with administrators and executors in relation to disputes arising from the administration of estates
  • Advising landlords and tenants on disputes, including disrepair and eviction
  • Advising on intellectual property issues
  • Acting for clients in disputes arising from the international transport of goods
