Laura Lindsay-Smith

Work Synopsis

Laura joined the Corporate Team in December 2023 as a paralegal.

Laura previously studied International Relations and Social Anthropology at the University of St Andrews. She was then awarded a career commitment scholarship to study the PGDL with BPP University, passing with Distinction in August 2023.

Since joining the firm, Laura has been involved in various corporate transactions including six acquisitions, three management buyouts and several share buy-backs. She regularly assists with due diligence, drafting corporate governance documents, and managing completion and post-completion matters. She has also been involved in reviewing clients’ commercial agreements.  

Personal Synopsis

Outside of work, Laura is a keen runner and enjoys sailing and travelling. After finishing university, she spent six months as part of a nine-person race crew, competing in five international regattas. She continues to sail locally in Suffolk.
