Jemima Lister

Work Synopsis

Jemima joined Prettys Solicitors Commercial Property Team in December 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor. She had previously specialised in residential property during her time with an Essex-based firm.

As a valued member of the Commercial Property team, Jemima is proficient at conducting a broad range of transactions and particularly enjoys working on agricultural, development and finance transactions. In August 2023, she completed her training contract and qualified as a Solicitor within the Prettys Commercial Property Team.

During her undergraduate degree, Jemima studied international law for a year in Sweden before returning to England to complete her Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and proceed with qualifying.

Since qualifying Jemima has acted on a broad range of matters including commercial agreements for lease and subsequent leases, residential development site acquisitions and site set-ups, purchases and disposals of agricultural & commercial property, along with specific advice files for matters such as overage agreements and the removal of restrictions. 

Personal Synopsis

In her spare time, Jemima enjoys spending time with her two cats, Lennie and Bonnie. She is an active runner and enjoys reading and travelling.
